Join the Child and Youth Services (CYS) team as an Assistant Sports and Fitness Director at the Baumholder military community in Germany. In this rewarding NF-03 role, you will support the Director in creating engaging, safe, and inclusive sports and fitness programs tailored for children and youth from 6 weeks to 18 years old, promoting physical health, skill development, and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in planning, scheduling, and executing a variety of sports leagues, fitness classes, camps, and special events.
• Supervise program staff, volunteers, and participants to ensure high standards of safety and quality.
• Maintain equipment, facilities, and inventory for optimal program delivery.
• Develop promotional materials and communicate program offerings to families via social media, newsletters, and community events.
• Assess participant needs and adapt programs to accommodate diverse ages, abilities, and interests.
• Ensure compliance with CYS policies, safety regulations, and risk management protocols.
• Foster partnerships with schools, local organizations, and military units to enhance program reach.

• Bachelor's degree in physical education, recreation, kinesiology, or a related field (preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience in youth sports programming, fitness instruction, or recreational leadership
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage volunteers and staff
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and military personnel

• Background check clearance required
