Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for capital markets platforms, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives trading systems
• Conduct stakeholder workshops, create user stories, and define acceptance criteria
• Perform gap analysis on existing systems and recommend process improvements
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and traders to ensure seamless implementation
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-go-live hypercare
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies like AI/ML in finance and regulatory changes

This is a remote contract position offering flexibility and exposure to cutting-edge projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets or financial services
• Strong knowledge of capital markets products, trading systems, and risk management
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling (BPMN/UML), and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and traders
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank) is a plus
