Are you passionate about data and excited to enter the blockchain industry? Kusama Network, the wild cousin of Polkadot, is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our remote-first team. This role is designed for beginners, offering a supportive environment where you can learn on the job, contribute meaningfully, and build a foundation for a thriving career in data analytics.
What You'll Do: As a junior team member, you'll start with foundational tasks and gradually take on more responsibility under the guidance of experienced analysts. Your daily work will include:
Remote Work & Collaboration: This is a fully remote position, perfect for working from anywhere with reliable internet. We use modern communication tools like Slack for daily chats, Discord for community syncs, Zoom or Google Meet for video calls, and Notion or Confluence for documentation. Expect asynchronous work with flexible hours (core overlap 10 AM - 2 PM UTC) to accommodate global team members. Weekly stand-ups and bi-weekly retros ensure everyone stays aligned.
Learning & Growth: We prioritize your development! You'll be paired with a senior mentor for 1:1 sessions, access our internal training library covering SQL basics, Python with Pandas and Jupyter Notebooks, and blockchain-specific data tools. Participate in hackathons, attend webinars on data ethics and Web3 analytics, and pursue certifications like Google Data Analytics (reimbursed). With Kusama's fast-paced environment, you'll quickly gain exposure to real-world projects, from monitoring network upgrades to analyzing governance proposals.
