Citech, a leading technology firm specializing in innovative software solutions, is seeking a DevOps Kubernetes / Platform Engineer for a remote contract position. Based in Marseille, France, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining resilient, scalable platforms that power our clients' digital transformations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes clusters for production workloads, ensuring high availability and security
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible across multi-cloud environments
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate development velocity and reduce deployment risks
• Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance using advanced observability tools
• Collaborate with development teams to adopt platform best practices and GitOps methodologies
• Contribute to platform engineering initiatives, including service mesh (Istio) and progressive delivery strategies
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies to enhance our platform capabilities

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and management
• Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Docker, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Expertise in Linux/Unix systems, scripting (Bash, Python, Go), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Experience with platform engineering practices, microservices architecture, and GitOps workflows
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to automate complex infrastructures
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• French and English proficiency
