ALSTOM, a world leader in smart and sustainable mobility, is looking for a dynamic Engineering Service Group Manager to spearhead our engineering services operations from Montréal, Québec, Canada. In this strategic remote-certified position, you will oversee a team of engineers and technicians providing critical after-sales support, maintenance, and upgrades for our rail, metro, and transportation systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a diverse team, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Service Delivery: Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of engineering services, including field support, repairs, upgrades, and technical consulting for global clients.
• Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and resolving complex technical issues to achieve high satisfaction levels.
• Operational Excellence: Optimize service processes, manage budgets, and implement KPIs to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Project Oversight: Lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion, coordinating with R&D, manufacturing, and sales teams.
• Compliance & Risk: Uphold industry standards, regulatory requirements, and ALSTOM's safety protocols while mitigating operational risks.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in engineering services, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Proven track record in managing service teams, project delivery, and customer relations in transportation, rail, or manufacturing sectors
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team building, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and knowledge of engineering service processes, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, ERP systems) and technical documentation
• Fluency in English and French (preferred for Québec operations)
