This REMOTE_CONTRACT role is perfect for a seasoned Java engineer passionate about startups and greenfield projects.

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate preferred)
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and scalable systems
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL like PostgreSQL, MongoDB), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a startup environment
• Excellent communication skills; English fluency required (German a plus)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
