About the Role

Andreas Stihl AG & Co. KG is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our digital team in Fellbach. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing our website and e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences for customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive, pixel-perfect frontend interfaces using modern web technologies
• Integrate with e-commerce backends to create intuitive shopping experiences
• Optimize site performance for speed, SEO, and mobile-first accessibility
• Conduct code reviews, write clean, maintainable code, and implement unit/integration tests
• Stay ahead of frontend trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital ecosystem
• Work closely with UX/UI teams to translate designs into functional web applications

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or custom solutions)
• Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Webpack, or similar build tools
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and tools like Figma or Adobe XD
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and state management (e.g., Redux)
• German and English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
