Opportunity Overview

Citi is seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer at the AVP level to join our Generative AI Products and Platform team in London. In this role, you will architect and implement end-to-end AI solutions that enhance our financial products, leveraging the latest in generative AI technologies to deliver personalized banking experiences, fraud detection, and automated advisory services.

This is a remote contract position offering flexibility and high-impact work in one of the world's most exciting cities.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with strong proficiency in frontend technologies (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend (Node.js, Python, Java)
• Deep expertise in Generative AI, including LLMs (e.g., GPT models, Llama), prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and vector databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs (REST/GraphQL), and microservices architecture
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
