• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, with hands-on expertise in LAN/WAN design, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Advanced certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
• Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching (VLANs, STP, VTP), and network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista hardware and software-defined networking (SDN) solutions
• Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark) and automation scripting (Python, Ansible)
• Active DoD security clearance (Secret or higher) preferred
