In this role, you will play a pivotal part in bringing innovative ophthalmic products to market by developing robust manufacturing processes and ensuring scalability from pilot to full production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead NPI projects from design transfer through process validation and launch
• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and throughput targets
• Conduct process capability studies, risk assessments (PFMEA), and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical challenges
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and support technology transfers

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field); Master's preferred
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with proven track record in NPI (New Product Introduction)
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and DOE
• Experience with medical device regulations (ISO 13485, FDA) is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with CAD software and process simulation tools
