Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and lead the development of high-performance, scalable backend and full-stack features
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define and deliver roadmap initiatives
• Mentor senior and junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster best practices
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and security in a high-traffic environment
• Drive technical innovation, evaluating and integrating new technologies
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 platform availability

This is a REMOTE_CONTRACT position ideal for experienced engineers passionate about social media tech and leadership.

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or principal role
• Deep expertise in backend technologies (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go) and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js)
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in databases (SQL/NoSQL) and CI/CD pipelines
• Leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and collaborating cross-functionally
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for clean, maintainable code
