Key Responsibilities:

• Design and configure protection schemes for substations, lines, and generators
• Perform relay settings calculations, coordination studies, and event analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in power system protection and control systems
• Proficiency in protection relays (e.g., SEL, ABB, Siemens), SCADA systems, and RTUs
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards (e.g., IEEE, CEC) and NERC reliability standards
• Experience with system modeling software (e.g., ASPEN, ETAP, PSCAD)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada is preferred
• Familiarity with Yukon-specific regulations and remote utility operations
