Your Role: In this position, you will play a pivotal role in architecting backend infrastructure, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless integration across our tech stack. You will work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps to bring features from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Ruby on Rails
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and caching strategies for high traffic
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API endpoints
• Collaborate on system architecture decisions and scalability improvements
• Conduct code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Expertise in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and caching systems (e.g., Redis)
• Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrating third-party services
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
