Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and the Temporal framework
• Implement microservices and event-driven architectures to ensure system reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with frontend teams, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features
• Optimize database queries, caching strategies, and API performance
• Conduct code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and participate in agile ceremonies
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement monitoring solutions

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Java (Spring Boot preferred)
• Proficiency in Temporal framework for workflow orchestration and durable execution
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
