Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with extensive experience in both manual and automation testing, especially in mobile applications. This role requires not only technical skills but also the ability to lead and mentor a QA team effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our products and collaborating closely with the development team to integrate QA processes seamlessly into our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the QA team, providing expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate in a dynamic and innovative team environment to encourage continuous improvement.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications, CRM systems, APIs, etc., ensuring robust coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform manual testing, design and implement automation test scripts, and execute them using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman to validate functionality, performance, and security.
- Execute thorough testing of mobile applications on various platforms (iOS, Android) to identify defects, usability issues, and performance limitations.
- Validate mobile application compatibility across multiple devices and screen sizes.
- Construct, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks tailored for mobile application testing.
- Enhance automation scripts and frameworks for improved efficiency and reliability.
- Perform backend testing utilizing SQL queries to verify data integrity and consistency in MySQL databases.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve any data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize JIRA or similar issue tracking tools for logging defects and tracking testing progress, ensuring clear communication of testing statuses.
- Create and present detailed test reports summarizing metrics and quality recommendations to stakeholders.
- Engage closely with cross-functional teams to ensure an integrated approach to QA processes within the SDLC.
