The Role

As a Senior Software Platform Engineer, you will architect and maintain high-performance platforms that support Sanofi's digital transformation. This includes developing scalable infrastructure for data pipelines, AI/ML workloads, and secure API gateways. You will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and security experts to ensure platforms are reliable, performant, and compliant with healthcare regulations like GDPR and HIPAA equivalents.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years focused on platform engineering or DevOps
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Strong expertise in programming languages like Java, Python, Go, or Node.js, and microservices architecture
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK stack)
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and platform observability best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to mentor junior engineers
• Fluency in English; French is a plus
