This is a REMOTE_CONTRACT position, offering flexibility while contributing to Newcastle University's digital transformation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in full stack development
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js (or Vue.js/Angular), Node.js, and Express.js
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Strong communication skills and passion for education technology
