What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable infrastructure for Axon's SaaS platforms
• Implement SRE best practices including error budgets, SLIs/SLOs, and chaos engineering
• Automate deployments and incident response with advanced tooling
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to eliminate toil and improve MTTR
• Lead on-call rotations and post-mortems to drive continuous improvement
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to open-source projects

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with hands-on experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for automation and tooling
• Expertise in monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and performance tuning
• Strong problem-solving skills and on-call experience in high-availability environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting
